- Portable – 1: one of the two versions can be carried on a memory stick - you can work where ever you have access to a PC that allows you to use both a memory stick and executable files (Check with your IT Support)
2: the end product is viewed through a browser, so it doesn’t matter what computers your learners have, they can view it via their Browser.
3: the end products can be saved in a number of formats… o as web pages that can be put on CDs/DVDs, Memory sticks, Web sites, Content Management systems, Virtual Learning Environments etc.
- as web pages that are menu driven or
- a single page (the latter ideal for learners who need a screen reader)
- as SCORM compliant for tracking learners within a VLE ·
- Sustainable – eXe is open source and its development is driven by educationalists
- Empowering – Practitioners have ownership and they can review-update-export-use-evaluate-review… when and how they wish! It also allows a ‘step’ in the quality process before learning resources are uploaded onto a learning platform.
