During April 2007 the UK Champ Curriculum JISCmail list conducted an unofficial survey of the Virtual Learning Environments currently in use across UK Further Education.

In 2004 St Helens College were successful in obtaining funding for a Transformation Project through the Learning and Skills Network.

Bluebird course looking at the various modules avalable in Moodle

The JISC Regional Support Centre facilitate a Moodle User and Interest Group for practitioners within all sectors across the Northwest of England.  The aim of the group is to share best practice and also knowledge of upcoming Moodle initiatives and projects.
