What is an eProgress Review?

The eProgress Review is a service offered by many Regional Support Centres across the UK.  The service comprises of a formal evaluation of e-learning capability within the organisation, report back and further support  if requested.

What is the aim of the eProgress Review?

The aim of this service is to enable organisations to gain a clear insight into their e-learning capability and focuses equally on strategy and planning, management, teaching and learning, learning support, staff development and technical infrastructure.  This will lead to a written report with additional support with action planning if required.

What does it mean for the learning provider?

Our team of advisers will conduct a formal review of the information and learning technologies available and the existence and future potential of e-learning within the provision.  This will comprise a number of detailed interviews with key staff, visits and data collection.  Findings will be collated, culminating in a eProgress Review Report available to the Principal / learning provider manager which will subsequently be presented to participants at a feedback meeting.  If required, appropriate support will be planned to assist with the development of e-learning. The report will be impersonal and will reflect opinions and data collected during interviews.  It is intended that the eProgress Review should be viewed as part of an organisation’s own quality assurance procedures and should not be seen as a substitute for internal self assessment.
