Nicole Johnson, tutor at Stockport College explains how she uses an interactive whiteboard to engage learners and teach from the back of the classroom.

Nicole discusses how she encourages learners to take control of interactive whiteboards through quizzes and activities with learners.  The learners compete in teams to answer questions and complete tasks.  Giving learners the opportunity to be at the front of the class, touching the board has encouraged collaborative learning and basic classroom management.  Nicole goes on to give examples of how she is working with other staff from Stockport college to bring some magic into the classroom and use interactive whiteboards to enhance the learning process.
