PART 2 OF 2 (part 1 - 11/2/10)
On 11th February & 11th March the RSC are working in conjunction with Netskills to run a two part online Podcasting course. Delegates should be aware that this sessions runs over two separate dates. Attendance is required at both sessions to gain full benefit of the programme.
Producing a podcast is simple, but producing one that people will want to listen to takes a bit more know-how! What's the best approach? What equipment do you need? How will you record and publish it?
These sessions offer a practical guide to creating engaging podcasts. They introduce effective techniques for planning, production and publishing podcasts. Participants will have the opportunity to record and publish their own podcast with support from Netskills trainers, RSC advisers and other participants.
What is a podcast?
A podcast is a digital media file or collection of files that is distributed over the internet. The files can then be played back on a computer or personal player (eg, an Ipod). The method by which podcasts are distributed is often called podcasting.

As a delegate you will be provided with some pre course material. This will be a small number of podcasts to analyse prior to the first session. You will also be required to do some ‘homework’ between the first and second session.
Please ensure that you will be able to allow time to attend both sessions and also complete the pre and intermediate course material.
Booking for this event is now closed.
