e-learning - making it work; from the preserve of enthusiasts to organisation-wide implementation
A major national conference on embedding e-learning for practitioners and leaders in further, workplace, adult and community learning, organised by QIA and ALT with the support of CEL, LSC, JISC, LSN and Becta.
This is a conference with a difference - run by practitioners and leaders for practitioners and leaders. It will give you an opportunity to explore and discuss how to embed e-learning successfully - with those that have done it.

What are the most effective and efficient ways to embed e-learning successfully?
Hear more about barriers to embedding e-learning successfully - and how to overcome them; business rationale for successful projects - and the business benefits and establishing criteria for success based on real measures of impact, including:
- Learner achievement;
- Learner retention;
- Improved efficiency or effectiveness;
- Improving the learner experience;
- Leadership in managing the culture change;
- Improvements in levels of staff skills and their capacity to deliver through e-learning.

Costs to attend
Member's rate to attend: £95;
Non-member's rate to attend: £135.
The above costs include all event materials, lunch and refreshments on the day. Accommodation and dinner the night before is in addition and can be booked online.
Accommodation at the NCSL: £75 per night per room;
Accommodation and dinner at the NCSL: £95 including per night per room cost.
