QIA and ALT
"e-learning - making it work"
QIA and ALT , with the support of Becta , JISC , LSC , LSN will be holding a conference in Nottingham on 11th October 2007 for practitioners and leaders in further, workplace, adult, and community learning. The conference follows on from one organised by ALT and LSDA in 2005, the output from which can be found at http://www.alt.ac.uk/fepc2005.html .
The 2007 conference is called "e-learning - making it work; from the preserve of enthusiasts to organisation-wide implementation".
The conference will showcase, in a systematic way, successful e-learning implementations; in a way which will help participants:
- learn from organisations who are presenting at the event;
- apply the lessons in their own organisation.
ALT and QIA's current priorities are:
- for individuals to register their initial interest in attending the event, by joining the jiscmail list number 1 at: http://www.alt.ac.uk/lists.html .
The event programme will be issued during August, but we will begin taking bookings for the event in advance of this, towards the end of July.
