New coastal geographic data for the UK has been released to the public for viewing with the free Google Earth application.

Based on surveys of the seabed by its Navigation Safety branch, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency hopes that citizens and other public bodies will provide feedback on new areas that should be considered for surveying, and how data can improve safety for the
