Apple: Anti-RSI
AntiRSI is a program for Mac OS X that helps prevent RSI (repetitive strain injury) and other computer related stress. It does so by forcing you to take regular breaks, yet without getting in the way. It also detects natural breaks so it won't force too many breaks on you.
Every four minutes it reminds you to take your hands off the computer for a micro break of a thirteen seconds and every fifty minutes it reminds you to take a ten minute break.
Taking your hands off the keyboard/mouse (so you don't accidentally move the pointer) whenever you pause to think however, will reset the micro break counter and reduce the number of forced breaks.
Users have found that after using the program for about 2 weeks, they find it rarely interrupts them for a micro break anymore because they naturally take them.
