Ofsted have hosted many seminars that shared the findings from thematic surveys about schools. This service was not previously offered to colleges, but that’s about to change.
From January 2008 good practice will be shared at seminars about land based, business, and engineering training. Colleges offering these courses have been invited, but a limited number of spaces are still available and admission is free of charge.

Personalisation in adult education is not a new idea. But current developments bring together a number of strands that will benefit learners and providers. Heather Barnett, HMI, explains how inspectors will be examining the extent to which providers are responding to initiatives in this area.
