Work has begun to develop a workforce strategy that will ensure England’s further education sector is in tune with the skills agenda proposed by Lord Leitch.

As part of a one-year project, Lifelong Learning UK will focus on five priority areas. These include determining the size and nature of the workforce; and attracting and retaining the best people for delivering the new vocational mission for the sector.
