New Entry: Tiddler
Using Menu to create a Tiddler (New Entry)...
On the right-hand side of Tiddlywiki is a Menu...
Select new tiddler from the items on the menu
- A new Tiddler (Entry) opens in editing format

- Give the new Tiddler the name you want to use Note: this will be the name you will have to add to the Main Menu
- Add any text and/or other code...
Using a WikiWord in existing Tiddlers...
Often users...
- ...will not want all tiddlers (entries) to be on the main menu;
- ...will want text in one tiddler to open another tiddler...
This is where WikiWords come into their own...
Putting CamelText (Text using Capital letters and Lowercase letters without spaces) automatically produces a link.
The first time you click that link the new tiddler will be created. Note: Don't change the new tiddlers name.
Using WikiWords that don't create Tiddlers...
Sometimes users...
- ...want to use CamelText but don't want to create a Tiddler Link!
Hold down Shift Key, on your keyboard, and type a tilde before the CamelText...
Using a Forced Wiki Word...
Often users...
- ...prefer not to use CamelText
This is where Forced Wiki Wordscome into their own...
Two keys are used on the keyboard...
This is typed twice before any Forced Wiki Word(s)...
Type (or Paste) the Forced Wiki Word(s) or Tiddler Name...
...then complete the link by typing 2 right-hand squared bracket.
i.e. [[Wiki Word or Tiddler Name]]
