Although eXe was developed for authoring eLearning 'objects'...
  • ...it can be used by learners to author their ePDP Portfolios and/or eRARPA Portfolios (one version can be used from a USB memory stick; authored off-line)
  • ...it allows users to incorporate evidence from online tools, repositories, documents etc. (flickr, pixton {comic strips}, blogs, wikis, vodcasts, podcasts, Screencast-O-Matic, Smilebox, FlyPaper, Google Docs etc)
  • ...if used for creating ePortfolios, parts of the Portfolios can be 'exported' in a number of formats. (Tutors/Trainers and/or Assessors/Internal Verifiers/Peer Assessors - can receive updates as and when required)
  • ...parts of the ePortfolio can be extracted and exported (used for peer assessment or for job applications etc)
