1: Make Beliefs Comix at http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/

You have a choice of characters with different moods and the chance to write words and thoughts for them, you will be able to tap into your creativity and explore new possibilities... Snippy, http://www.bhelpuri.net/Snippy/, comes into play as well (to save time!)

How about giving change combined with Multi-choice questions?

IDevice Icon Learners can also be asked to use this software for Performance-based Formative assessment.
  1. By writing dialog for comic strips, learners can
  • practice using new vocabulary words
  • engage in make believe conversations
  • practice writing sentences
  • hone storytelling skills etc...
Students in ESOL and literacy programs enjoy printing out the comics they create – doing so validates their hard-won efforts.
Note: I've used the Preknowledge iDevice (mainly because of the 'idea lightbulb')
