Work Based Learning: - eLearning Positioning Statement Tool
How?
1: By using the tool with as many staff (Users) as possible.
Users will be able...
- to use the tool at a time and place to suit them
- to use the tool independently (without peer pressure; providing considered data) or as teams/groups etc.
- to make valuable contributions
- by identifying any evidence that is available to confirm the identified position; many staff for example collect 'data' for their learners/programmes of learning
- by suggesting evidence that could be collected as the organisation progresses to the next level(s)
- to be involved in the organisations strategy and policy monitoring, reviewing and implementation framework
2: By spreading the "work" throughout the year, rather than attempting to complete the statement in "one sitting"!
e.g. During the three academic terms, addressing 2 or 3 Themes per term rather than trying to do all 7 at once.
3: When writing funding bids: Identifying the Theme/Themes that would 'mature' if funding is acquired by a successful bid; showing knowledge of current position, expected progression and evidence to support both.
