Yes, there are video-tutorials in the "help pages" available in the upper left corner of Gapminder World. It is recommended to open the video tutorial in one window and have the "real" Gapminder World open in another window at the same time. Then you can see each step in one window and repeat the same actions immediately in the real tool in the other window.
