We currently have, running on Auto-pilot, this month's storyboard of video clips (Looping approximately every 24:29 min) The clips are...

  1. Embed YouTube Video into PowerPoint (04:14 min)
-This video tutorial, submitted onto YouTube by reponzo01, is a quick and easy way to embed a YouTube video into a PowerPoint presentation on a PC; Note: this assumes you will have internet access during your presentation. I Know - some of your organisations (Learning Providers) block YouTube. If so the next but one video tutorial will provide an alternative...
  2. La Machine Awakes! Giant Spider 'La Princess' in Liverpool (01:25 min)
-Something unforgettable happened in Liverpool as a highlight of the city's European Capital of Culture celebrations. Vast in scale and spectacular in execution, this breathtaking new commission from La Machine spun a tale so magical that an entire city fell under its spell.
  3. Embed YouTube into PowerPoint Offline (09:07 min)
    - This video tutorial, submitted onto YouTube by reponzo01, provides a relatively quick and easy way to embed a YouTube video into a PowerPoint presentation on a PC without having to worry about being online or the video being blocked by the learning provider. (a continuation to the previous Embedding video)
  4. You're no-one if you're not on Twitter (03:32 min)
    - A "niche" song written by UK musician Ben Harper about the phenomenon of microblogging tool Twitter and its power to connect like-minded people. The clip has become a viral sensation, so much so that Ben has been interviewed for the BBC Radio 5 Live showplus there are Pods and Blogs about it (now it is on RSC NW TV).
  5. Protein Synthesis : Translation 2008 (03:22 min)
    - This short video, using the recording technique of stop motion, illustrates how cells produce proteins. During the opening credits, we meet all of the key players -- molecules that join forces to construct the stringy building blocks of life. As the soundtrack changes, the entire sequence of events unfolds. Messenger RNA molecules carry the recipe for a protein to a ribozyme -- where tRNA molecules line up to stack amino acids onto the end of a growing chain. When the worker molecules reach a stop codon, their job is complete. Hopefully of interest to both Biologists and media practitioners and their learners.
  6. Web Search Strategies in Plain English (02:51 min)
    - A short video designed to help your learners, or you, get more from your web searches.
