As an eLearning Adviser I am some what "nomadic", as are the rest of the RSC-family across the UK. We only get home to base every so often. Work-based learners and their Assessors etc. must feel the same for much of the time.

Thankfully we live in the age of the internet with email, Skype, webcams and mobile phones. (I know many of you would disagree with that last comment!)

These days, there is no need to feel so far away from peers, colleagues, families etc.

Eyejot has made that distance even shorter by providing us with the ability to send anybody a video email. All you need is a webcam, microphone and of course yourself.

It is so much quicker than typing and video always allows you to 'display the emotions' which text doesn't.
