A study of the effective use of social software by Further and Higher Education in the UK to support student learning and engagement
The (JISC) wishes to commission a study of the effective use of social software by Further and Higher Education in the UK to support student learning and engagement.
The main deliverables of the study are 8-12 case studies and a final report with recommendations, intended to inform staff delivering higher education to students in Higher Education institutions or Further Education Colleges and the JISC executive. The report and case studies are to be delivered to JISC in January 2009.
Up to £40,000 (including VAT and expenses) is available for the study over a six-month period (July 2008 – January 2009).
Tenders should be submitted no later than 12:00 on Friday 6 June 2008.
