Becta, the organisation which promotes the best use of technology in education, has now launched the exciting Next Generation Learning Awards and entries are coming in thick and fast. Ultimately Becta will look to reward all types of learning provider in the FE and Skills sector and seek to identify those nationwide who are fully confident in the use of technology.

In total there are seven awards up for grabs that recognise and celebrate those leading the way in the use of technology to transform organisation and learners experiences in...

  • further education,
  • work-based learning,
  • adult and community learning,
  • offender learning,
  • specialist colleges and the
  • voluntary sector.

The entries deadline of 9 July 2008 is fast approaching so if your learning provider is already using technology in innovative or exciting ways to improve the way you learn then make sure you nominate them for a Next Generation Learning Award.
