Protopage: Desktop

Protopage can be used as an online...

  • organisational
  • curriculum
  • class
  • project
  • collaboration
  • etc (only limited by your imagination)

desktop where users can enhance communication, quickly access appropriate web content etc.

It can be used to:

  • Create web pages, group pages, and intranets
  • Keep bookmarks of frequently accessed/shared web sites
  • Organize with daily, weekly, monthly, termly... To-do lists and sticky notes
  • Read news from favourite news sites and blogs
  • And much more!

Pages can be kept private, made public, or by establishing a group password users can share parts of it with specific learners or colleagues.

If Protopage is set up as your browser home page (I suggest IE7 is currently the better browser if you are using Protopage as an intranet) it will appear every time you open the browser!

For online help with Protopage go to http://www.protopage.com/web/help/introduction.jsp.

Or visit my simple sample public page at http://www.protopage.com/jiscrscnw.

Or set up your own Protopage e.g. as www.protopage.com/yourname at http://www.protopage.com/, the Registration hyperlink is located in the bottom-right of the screen!
