'Getting Started with Second Life' is a new JISC guide written by teachers for teachers who are interested in using virtual worlds as part of their teaching. 

The aim of the guide is to...

• present the basics of getting started in Second Life,
• allow teachers to experiment with Second Life.

The guide answers a range of the most common questions as well as providing examples of how teachers are using Second Life to support their learners.
