The tools included within this section, are not the only ones available to support the implementation of a VLE; they are tools, however, that are

• affordable,
• sustainable,
• don't have large training implications,
• usable by practitioners and/or learners and/or other stakeholders (administrators, managers etc)

and can enhance current Practices including Teaching, Learning, Assessment & Verification and Administration.
