This particular Generic eLearning Positioning Statement (GeLPS) Tool enables Learning Providers to identify their current position, in relation to eLearning, and comprises of 7 elements.

This tool is designed as an interactive resource to aid learning providers in the process of pinpointing the learning provider's consensus on their current position or to identify a range of positions within the organisation.

When using this tool it is important that learning providers ask themselves...
What evidence do we have to demonstrate we are at the level selected? and/or What evidence will we need to demonstrate we have moved forward?.

The answers to these questions should be recorded and, as appropriate, included in the learning provider's ILT/eLearning Strategy and Action Plans.
