"Free MP3 recording via telephone is back"

Phonecasting has lots of applications such as:

• phone blogging ('phlogging'),
• live commentary,
• interviewing people (just conference someone in),
• collecting audio data/evidence, or simply
• letting your all learners/colleagues/staff/etc. know what 'you're doing'/they need to do/etc. "in one go".

Once registered with ipadio users will receive an email with instructions on to make their first phonecast.

Users can then begin broadcasting from their registered phone to the whole internet - right then - live! (it is called a 'phonecast').

So what is involved? It is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 as shown in the 3 steps below:

1. CALL IN: Call 08455083974 or 02033842843 from your registered phone
2. ENTER YOUR PIN: You will hear a welcome message and be asked to enter your personal pin code
3. PHONECAST!! Start talking (Don't wait as I did, to be told to start recording, just talk...)

When finished press the hash(#) key on your phone keypad.

After the first call users will get another email with a link to listen to their phonecast on their own 'channel'.

Apart from the long pause at the start of my recording here is my first effort (I start talking at 19 seconds; ooops!)...

Another big plus is that the resulting mp3 can be downloaded!
