How To Adapt and Succeed

How to Adapt and succeed in the downturn pdf header

Could you be working smarter? Could your staff/learners be more mobile? How can technology help?

I've had an email from Microsoft UK that I think a number of you may find interesting.

Many Learning Providers already have technologies in place that enable them to work in new ways. For example, finding ways to achieve more on the move is one cost-effective and positive way to adapt during the downturn. In fact small businessess with fully 'mobile' workforces, supported by Adult and Community Learning Providers, and Work Based Learning Providers, are more likely to forecast growth in 2009 compared to businesses without remote working (Source: Crimson Business Ltd 'Mobile working linked with growth' Feb 2009 ).

The latest technology isn't just for big business/learning providers; it's for smaller companies/learning providers to take advantage of too.

To make your 'business' more agile, ensure you are staying up to date with the latest technology. Take advantage of the solutions out there - many are effective, affordable and very easy to use, some are even free...

I know that an increasing number of learning providers are using Google Docs, Open Office, Protopage, and other tools to save money and/or work smarter or more collaboratively.
