The Look Up website provides information on eye care and vision for people with learning disabilities.

One of the features is a DVD - You and Eye for adults with a learning disability. It's about the importance of eye care and vision. The video clips can be watched online and are available in 5 chapters/video-clips.

  1. 1 in 3 people with a learning disability has a sight problem, but they may not know this and may not be able to tell others.
    This introduction video aims to provide information about the importance of eye care and vision.
  2. This video story helps people understand why they need to get their eyes tested and what will happen at the optometrist.
  3. This video story is to help people with learning disabilities and their carers understand what it is like to have a cataract operation.
  4. This video story helps people with learning disabilities and their carers understand the importance of getting the right medical help if needed. It talks about how to look for signs of sight problems and how they can change people's behaviours.
  5. This video summarizes the 5 videos in their words "We hope this has helped you to understand the importance of sight and good eye care".
