Saving a Project

Save the Project
Even before recording - It is always a good idea to save the project as you go along.

To do that...

  • Use the File Menu and select Save Project As...

  • A warning dialog box appears as shown here...

    It is basically saying this isn't an audio file as such, it is a project file and can only be opened in Audacity.
  • Click the OK
  • The Save Project As: dialog box opens...

    Save as you would any other file.
