A person talking on the radio
To change a recorded voice so that it sounds like a person talking on the radio...
- Using Audacity, open the Recorded voice you wish to change
Example of an original Voice Recording - Move the mouse over the 'grey control section' at the start of the track, as shown here...

...and left-click...
This is the quick way to select all of this track; the following image shows the result...
Note: the change in colour showing the track has been selected. - Click on the Effect Menu and then select Amplify

- Click OK

- Click on the Effect Menu and then FFT Filter...

- Click on the top 12dB line at the 5000 Hz point and then on the bottom -12dB line around 10000 Hz (this should create a diagonal line across the filter as shown below)

- Click OK
- Click on the Effect Menu and then High Pass Filter...

- Change the Cutoff Frequency to 2000

- Click OK (The next steps are a repeat of earlier actions)
- Click on the Effect Menu and then FFT Filter...

- Click OK

- Click on the Effect Menu and then High Pass Filter...

- Change the Cutoff Frequency to 2000

- Click OK
Export the end product as an mp3. Example of the 'changed voice' - Sound enough like a radio for you?
