eCPD building on eGuides: Audacity
A person in a concert hall
To change a recorded voice so that it sounds like a person talking in a concert hall...
- Using Audacity, open the Recorded voice you wish to change
Example of an original Voice Recording - Move the mouse over the 'grey control section' at the start of the track, as shown here...

...and left-click...
This is the quick way to select all of this track; the following image shows the result...
Note: the change in colour showing the track has been selected. - Click on the Effect Menu and then select GVerb

- In the dialog box that appears...
- Change the Roomsize (m) to 40
- Change the Reverb time (s) to 20
- Change the Dry signal level (dB) to 0
- Change the Early reflection level (dB) to -10
- Change the Tail level to -30

- Click OK
