Readability

Image of Readability Logo

Readability provides the tools that allows 'surfers', 'wilfs', 'learners', 'presenters' etc. to remove the distracting clutter, that can make it difficult for many readers, and focus on the primary content on web pages.

This application couldn't be any easier to install or use...

  • Set the type-style,
  • text-size, and
  • margin-width. Then...
  • drag and drop a bookmarklet onto the bookmark toolbar of your browser.

When doing a presentation, and delegates/learners/etc., can't read the text and/or users want to remove clutter to focus on primary content...

  • Click on this book marklet and your preferences are applied.

To change the settings, for different browser users, simply...

  • right-click on the bookmarklet to delete it.
  • go to the Readability site,
  • select the settings you want, and
  • add a new book marklet.
I'll be using this at my next workshop; why don't you try it out at http://lab.arc90.com/experiments/readability/.
